The fourth of the Reiki Healing series released in 2006. The Dai Ko Myo is the master Reiki symbol and focuses on issues related to the spiritual body. As with the other albums in this series, my intent was to create an authentic sonic representation of the symbol itself, with the hope of creating a resonant field in which one could immerse themselves and attune to the vibration of the Dai Ko Myo. This is the deepest album of the series on many levels.
The composition continues with the non-standard tuning system called the spiral of fifths tuned to C256. Besides following an immersion in the study and direct experience of the Dai Ko Myo symbol on both a personal and metaphysical level, this composition employs principles and techniques from sacred geometry and the Schillinger system of musical composition to convert the relationships found within the Dai Ko Myo symbol into sound, which was then intuitively composed and arranged into a pleasing musical form. The main proportions at play are within the 21:13:8:5 series, part of the Fibonacci numbers following the Golden Ratio. There is also a theta brainwave entrainment frequency tuned to an octave of the heart chakra.
